FOR CHILDREN WHO NEED HELP WITH LITERACY

Reading Support helps schools to raise achievement in literacy through:

  • a range of interventions to support children who struggle to read or write
  • developing literacy teaching to sustain high standards for all children

Reading Support provides professional development, training and resources for school leaders, teachers and teaching assistants in the UK. It is run by Edge Hill University on a not-for-profit basis and was set up with support from the DfE.
